The outreach of Ridiculously Brand is the non-profit aspect that consists of after-care programs for the local kids in the community that provides them with educational background on
nutrition, fitness, and keeps them active in a safe and fun environment. Part of the community outreach is that the resources of the gym added with the comedic relief is created to make people feel welcome, appreciated, and enjoy themselves in a feel-good environment. The comedic aspect of the brand brings people of all ages together to all things Philly giving the people what they want in an innovative and healthy way. Felder’s goal is that with the Ridiculously Funny Brand that this leads to the growth of the people starting in Philadelphia city.
Ridiculously Fitt-Outreach hosted a Turkey Drive for the community at the Ridiculously Fitt gym and event space. A partnership with Rolls Auto, WRNB and BOOM 103.9. More events coming soon!
Philly native and Urban best-selling author of two award winning novels Million Dollar Dream and Million Dollar Dream Part 2, Derrick Felder, is the sole owner and creator of the Ridiculously brand, in which combines the workings of fitness, outreach, and comedy into one. The term, ridiculous was just a part of Felder’s vocabulary growing up saying things like, “You are <span style=”color: red;”> ridiculous</span>,” and “You smell ridiculous.” The name just became a perfect fit for the brand. In 2016, the foundation of the Ridiculously FITT gym was established in the Philadelphia area to bring together people of the community in an enjoyable and nutritious way. The gym expanded within different branches FITT, FUNNY, and OUTREACH to uphold the overall mission of the Ridiculously brand.
